Jobwalk Jena postponed to 2021

Large open-air career fair takes place on the market square on 10.07.2021

"Stroll and apply" was supposed to be the motto of the 2nd Jobwalk Jena this year. Due to the corona pandemic, the organizer - the Erlangen agency augenmass - has now also cancelled the alternative date on 26.09.2020. However, the date for the new edition in 2021 has already been set: on 10.07.2021, companies from Jena and the surrounding area will once again get to know new specialist staff in a relaxed atmosphere.

Unfortunately, Corona is putting a big, fat spanner in the works this year,

says augenmass owner Peter Böttger.

We first had to postpone the June date to September - but even this cannot be kept in the current situation.

According to Böttger, the job walk is neither economically nor conceptually feasible under the current conditions.

The hygiene regulations and social distancing rules on the marketplace would limit the number of exhibitors and visitors too much. According to the organizers, only half of the 80-plus companies would have been able to take part.

According to the augenmass team, all companies that want to participate again in 2021 can rebook their stand space for next year.
